Development and Educational Psychologist, University of Padua, Italy
Pedagogist (University of Verona – Italy) with a specialization in multimedia and didactic communication (University of Ferrara – Italy)
Since 2000 I have been working at the Erickson Study Center where I am responsible for Research and Development in the psychoeducational and didactic areas. My areas of interest are disability and the Individualized Education Plan with a particular focus on the use of ICF-CY (OMS), learning, educational planning and teaching materials, innovative teaching methodologies and school psychology. On these issues, I have published operational manuals and monographs, as well as scientific articles in national and international journals.
Other research interests are teacher education and training, peer-to-peer teaching observation, professional development and teacher well-being. On these issues, I collaborated as visiting researcher with the School of Education of the University of Dundee (Scotland – UK) and the Institute for Teacher Education and School Research – University of Innsbruck Austria.
I provide support, accompaniment and advice to schools and teachers in the management of complex educational situations and in the promotion of inclusive practices. I love to contribute to the training of future teachers, curricular and support (TFA courses) and for this, I have been a lecturer in the degree and training courses at the Free University of Bolzano, the University of Trento, the University of Verona.
For 15 years I have been a psychologist supervising internships for future psychologists.
At the same time, I create opportunities for discussion with teachers and other school professionals, because I strongly believe in the value of the knowledge and experience of the “practical” who work directly and daily in the school environment.
I like to enhance people’s skills and create connections of ideas, projects and perspectives. This is why I am always open to new collaborations and proposals from an interdisciplinary perspective.
